To all new scouts in Troop 1459. We are very excited to have you!!!!

Each of you should have received an email from webmaster@troop1459.org with the Subject "Account created for Troop 1459 - Alpharetta, GA" - look for this email to find your log-in information. If you can't find this email check spam filters (on PC and also your internet service provider) before you contact us for help. To contact us for access/password problems use the <contact us> form in the navigation menu.

Tip: Once you log-in successfully - you can change your username and password to something you are familiar with and will remember. Do this by clicking on the "My Profile" link in top of the left column. - See attachment below for Website "Quick reference" on layout and where to look for what information. Print this and keep handy in case you need help while getting started.

Please note that any changes you make to your profile via the website (specifically email address, phone#) does not automatically update your permanent Troop records in Troopmaster - you must submit a personal record information change form - look under Menu/section "[Files] Then [Parents/Scouts}"

Troop Committee Meetings

Members,

I have changed the dates for the Troop Committee Meetings for the balance of the year. I would like to return to holding the meetings on Tuesday nights. Our next scheduled meetings will be September 21, October 19, November 30.

Troop 1459,

There is a lot of buzz going on about the Troop Elections happening on Tuesday night. I received a number of emails from Scouts (and Parents) about the elections and it is clear that our troop (scouts, adult leaders and parents) is growing in our understanding of the importance of scout leadership.

Fellow Scouts and friends,

I need your help for my Eagle Scout Project.

I am designing and building a nature trail for Hopewell Middle School. The trail will enable students to observe the layers of soil and the effects of erosion in the nearby creek banks. With your help we will be removing vegetation and trash in order to build Hopewell students a safe and easily accessible trail. In addition, we will be building a sign that will be placed at the beginning of this trail. If you volunteer for the trail work day please wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Also, the Stagnaro family will provide lunch and water, but please bring a water bottle with you.
